Cape Coast Teaching Hospital launches Nurses and Midwives Week Celebration 2026.

CAPE COAST TEACHING HOSPITAL

The Nursing Administration of the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital has launched the 3rd edition of its annual Nurses and Midwives Week Celebration.

The celebration is under the theme “Our Nurses and Midwives, Our Future: Empowered Nurses and Midwives Save Lives”.

The celebrations were started on Monday, 22nd June 2026, and would continue through to Sunday, 28th June 2026, across various venues in addition to the hospital.

The celebrations are chaired by Mrs Paulina Adomako, the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, with Professor Samuel Ato Duncan, founder of COA Research and Manufacturing Limited, the special guest of honour for the celebrations.

The celebrations are being partnered by the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, COA Research and Manufacturing Limited, the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA), the Union of Professional Nurses and Midwives (UPNMG), Digicut Production and Advertising PLC, Ocean Printing and GRNMA Hotel, Cape Coast.
