Qatar have announced their squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026. The final squad was announced on June 1. The 2022 hosts of the FIFA World Cup are making their second appearance at this year’s mundial following their debut appearance in 2022, where they hosted one of the most memorable FIFA World Cups in living memory. Qatar was ranked 50th in the world in the final official FIFA World Ranking released ahead of the 2022 World Cup. They were the lowest-ranked team in Group A, which also featured the Netherlands (8th), Senegal (18th), and Ecuador (44th).
