Apostle Okoh Agyemang (The Dynamic Preacher), the leader of the Yahweh 7th Day Sabbath Assemblies, has admonished his church members and Christians in general. He has cautioned men of God who sell stuff in their churches to avoid dragging the name of Jesus into their peccadilloes and shenanigans. He advised using the name of Jesus to sell items like shea butter, yoghurt, yams and gallons of water, which have been purified
He challenged pastors doing business and earning a good fortune from selling to members to avoid dragging the name of the Lord into dispute. He advised that if there is so much power in the items as the men of God claim, then they should give them to the president and the leaders of the country to develop/better the lot of Ghanaians.
In Leviticus 27 verse 28, he quotes the portion of scripture that says, “But nothing that a person owns and devotes to the LORD—whether a human being or an animal or family land—may be sold or redeemed; everything so devoted is most holy to the LORD.
He cautioned Christians to be wary of pastors who would extort the members through church sales in the upcoming 31st December crossover.
