The General Overseer of Alabaster Ministry International and outspoken man of God, Rev. Kofi Oduro, has cautioned pastors to desist from using their pulpits to promote politics. In a reaction to the brouhaha that has ensued on social media following Prophet El Bernard’s missed prophecy about Kennedy Agyapong, he began by acknowledging that he has brothers from both the NDC and the NPP: Hon. Dr Bryan Acheampong, MP for Abetifi and one of the contestants in the 2026 NPP flagbearership race, as his maternal cousin, and Hon Julius Debrah, the Chief of Staff in the current NDC government, as his paternal cousin, yet he does not hype them as he should have.
He cautioned men of God from helping politicians because they have a mandate to preach the gospel, to win souls and to glorify Christ.
He revealed that most Ghanaian politicians are very disrespectful to God, very promiscuous and very adulterous and most of them do not care about God so why would pastors need to care about them by creating so much buzz and hype about them
He admonished pastors to open the Bible, preach the word of God and leave “those uncircumcised people alone” referring to the politicians).
