The High Court in Accra has confirmed that there is no registered will for the late highlife musician Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.

The confirmation followed an official search at the Probate and Administration Division, conducted as part of the legal process to manage the musician’s estate.
The search, aimed at determining whether a will had been filed with the court, revealed that no record exists of any document deposited by Daddy Lumba.
The absence of a registered will means that the late musician’s estate may have to be administered under Ghana’s intestate succession laws, unless a valid will emerges from another source.
Daddy Lumba, celebrated for his enduring contributions to Ghanaian highlife music, passed away, leaving a rich musical legacy. His death has drawn national attention, particularly regarding the management of his estate.
